  • Day 1

    Arrival Yangon and sightseeing

    Upon arrival to the YANGON international airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transfer to your hotel. (Note: Early check in at hotel is subject to availability.) Yangon is the former capital and a sprawling city, lined by the Yangon River on the west and the Bago River on the south.

    Your journey begins to explore through the colonial-style city center area with colonial building still standing elegantly, and the busy harbor. First visit golden SULE PAGODA built over 2,000 years ago. And see the impressive city hall of Yangon from green MAHABANDOLA PARK (Former Fythch Square). And continue through others impressive colonial buildings.

    Visit through the BOGYOKE (SCOTT’S) MARKET (closed on Mondays and public holidays) where hundreds of gemstone, clothes, handicrafts, arts, clothes and food stores are busy day with colorful. Proceed then to the magnificent reclining Buddha at CHAUK HTAT GYI. Complete the day with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, one of the wonders of the world the SHWEDAGON PAGODA.

  • Day 2

    Yangon – flight to Mandalay

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning, transfer to domestic airport in for your flight from Yangon to Mandalay. Mandalay is the last capital of the Burmese kingdom and second largest city, nowadays cultural and arts as well as the trade center of the country.

    Experience and comprehensive sightseeing in Mandalay visit one of the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar, the MAHAMUNI PAGODA, with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves. Mandalay is well known for handmade arts, craft and its skilled of craftsmen and traditional workshops, visit the process of pounding gold-leaf and also visit how bronze and marble Buddha statues are carved, cast and molded. And the production of wood carvings, kalaga tapestries are made. We observe the process of pounding gold leaf, detailing teakwood carvings and embroidering Myanmar tapestry. We also see how bronze and marble Buddha statues are carved, cast and molded.

    And contiune visitto SHWE INBIN MONASTERY, is over 100 years old and can see beautiful wood curving. the GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY, a superbancient wooden building with intricate carvings, and KUTHODAW PAGODA, home to the world's largest book made of 729 marble slabs, inscribed with Buddhist teachings. And Kayuk Taw Gyi Pagoda to view the huge marble Buddha Enjoy spectacular views at sunset from Mandalay Hill, where the great views of the surrounding countryside, Irrawaddy River and city centre.

  • Day 3

    Mandalay – day trip to Pyin Oo Lwin

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning scenic two-hour drive (80 km) to the former British hill station of Maymyo, now officially called Pyin Oo Lwin, a delightful small town of colonial-style buildings, markets, and a botanical garden. The town is located on a plateau 1000m above sea level and renowned for its cooler temperatures.

    Visit colorful local market with multicolored flowers and vegetables in the center of the town near the clock tower where array of items are for sale including locally-produced such as jams and fruit wines.

    Enjoy and feel the historical atmosphere by traveling through town in a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through the town to see the historical houses including Candacraig Hotel, built in 1905 in the style of an English country home.

    And drop off at the National Kandawgyi Gardens (also known as Botanical Gardens) where relaxing walk though most the charming park in the country.

    In the afternoon proceed to visit the PEIK KHYIN MYAUNG CAVES, since ancient times a Buddhist shrine almost as old as the land itself. In the evening enjoy your day at hill station town.

  • Day 4

    Pyin Oo Lwin – Hsipaw

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the early morning, transfer to train station and wait for Lashio-Mandalay train (estimated departure time: 08.30 am) was long known as the black-market train. And venture out on local train to Naung Pin, experience 4-hr train ride, looming through various agricultural landscapes of scenic beauty.

    And experience while the train also crawl slowly across the famous Gokteik Bridge. The 700m long bridge, built in 1901 by the American Pennsylvania Steel Co, spans across a nearly 300m deep abyss. Hop out of the train at Naung Pain village and proceedovlernadto Hsipaw, the small charming town, which is coilded around by Dottawaddy river and hills at distance.

    After enjoying a simple lunch, starts with a visit to a most revered pagoda Bawgyo Pagoda built by King Alaung Si Thu in 13th century. Explore countryside trek, passing through various farms, paddy fields and Shan villages nestled in bucolic pace of life with their laid back atmosphere.

  • Day 5

    Sightseeing in Hsipaw – drive back to Mandalay

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning transfer to the river and take a short ride by charming long tail boat in the Dottawaddy river and watch the charming local life of ‘Hsipaw’ along the river and famous Shan Palace. Along the way, to observe Shan villages’ daily activities such as fishing, washing, fetching water for household use. After 1 hour boat trip, take an easy pass walking trip to tribal village passed through the orange, pineapple, papaya plantation and have refreshing atmosphere of the countryside. Visit the villages and observe about their daily life of local people.

    Then sail down the river and return back to Hsipaw.

    In the afternoon, visit famous guardian Nat Shrine, Bamboo monastery and observe 150-yr old lacquer Buddha image. And then drive back to MANDALAY.

    Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 6

    Mandalay – boat to Bagan

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the early morning transfer to the jetty and board ferry boat for your journey on the AYAYARWADDY River to BAGAN.

    The trip takes approx. 8 hours downriver, depending on river conditions and water level.

    The whole journey enjoy scenic view and witness of local people life.

    In the late after disembark and transfer to your hotel in Bagan.

  • Day 7

    Sightseeing in Bagan

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    Bagan, the ancient city alongside the mighty Ayarwaddy River holds over 2000 temples and pagodas is remarkable archaeological site of Asia represents the spiritual heritage of the country.

    In the morning stroll through busy colorful local market and continue the day with visits to the most slection of significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; see 13th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha 'Cave' Temple. Continue to GU BYAUK GYI at Wetkyi Inn village, another 'cave' temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes; Next stop is HTILOMINLO, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes. And ANANDA TEMPLE, masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddha images. Visit next to THABYINNYU TEMPLE, the highest in Bagan area. And visit DHAMMAYANGYI TEMPLE widest temple in Bagan which not uncompleted to built.

    In the afternoon, visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts, a lacquerware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby MYINKABA village. You will continue to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in the Mon style in 1059 and follow on to NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha. Proceed to one of the temple to watch the panoramic view of sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River.

  • Day 8

    Bagan – flight to Heho – visit Pindaya – Kalaw

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO.

    Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic overland road to PINDAYA (59 km – 2 hour), a town where famous for limesone cave and the home of the countless Buddha Images and picturesque lake. The way to Pindaya cross over the rolling hills of the Shan plateau through and breathtaking sights of the spectacular landscape of pure nature.

    Visit and explore PINDAYA CAVES, a unique site housing over 8000 Buddha images made of wood, marble, lacquer, brick, stone and bronze placed there by pilgrims over the centuries.And visit traditional paper and umbrella production and making process.

    After lunch (own account), drive to KALAW (50 km – 1 ½ hours) and transfer to your hotel. Dinner is your own account.

  • Day 9

    Kalaw ( day trekking)

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO.

    Start your trek from Kalaw to the YWA THIT and TAR YAW villages, west of Kalaw and on the rim of the mountains which is Palaung village through the tea, orange, sesame and cherrot leave plantation and mountain rice fields. The trekking up and down provide the perfect environment for soft trekking in the rolling hills of the spectacularly and beautiful landscape. And reach to the view point and have a very simple lunch. Enjoy beautiful sceneries and panorama view on the whole mountain range. After that walk back to KALW passing and visiting around the village’s life.

    Kalaw – Palaung villages of Ywa Thit and Tar Yaw: Around 3 or 4 hours.

    View Point – Kalaw: Around 3 or 4 hours.

  • Day 10

    Kalaw – drive to Inle Lake & sightseeing

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    In the morning transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO.

    In the morning, take scenic drive to Nyaung Shwe (1hour) where the gate way of the Inle Lake. Along the way, stop at the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which red-painted teak building with unique oval shaped windows and features beautiful carvings.

    Inle Lake in southern Shan State, a 22 km long and about 11 km wide has allocated 875m above sea level, a natural lake surrounded by traditional Shan villages and homes of the Intha people who famous for one-leg-rower technique.

Observe and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Visit PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains most five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf by devout pilgrimages. Visit Innthar Heritage house, a beautiful old traditional homewith a café upstairs and home for Burmese cats downstairs.

    Visit to the weaving village of INPAWKHON, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village where to observe how Burmese cigars, or “cheroots,” are traditionally packed and rolled by hand.

    End of the day on the lake with a pleasant sunset surrounded by mountains

    Inle Lake – day trip to Indein

    Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

    Visit one of the traditional 5 days-routing colourful and bustling morning market where variety of different products from picturesque floating gardens were sold by different tribal groups such as Pa-O, Palaung people.

    And then excursion to western shore of the lake of ruins and hidden INN THEIN PAGODA complex.

    Along the way, passing through the busy villages which built tall houses on stiltand charming way of inhabitants of lake. And find the beginning of a stair path leading to the most amazing historical sights on the shore of the lake consisting of hundreds of small ruins and hidden stupas overgrown by moss and greens. Enjoy breathtaking views from the main stupa area on the top of the hills over surrounding and into the valley with the lake in the far distance.

    Rests of the day will your own leisure for your last day in Myanmar or further exploration in Yangon downtown area.
